Description Terms Of Reference Capital Outlay – Silent-type Diesel Generators (6.5kva) Proposed Purchase Of Two (2) Units Of Silent-type Diesel Generators (6.5 Kva) For The Use In The Bureau Of The Treasury Provincial Offices Of Zamboanga Del Norte And Zamboanga City/zamboanga Sibugay. A. Objective The Project Calls For The Purchase Of Two (2) Units Silent-type Diesel Generators (6.5 Kva) For The Following Reasons: 1. Power Supplies In The Subject Localities Are Not Reliable Especially During Hot Seasons Or During The Onset Of The “el Nino Phenomenon”, Prompting Said Pos To Experience Regular Or Internittent Brown-outs. Power Interruptions Can Also Be Experienced During Increment Weather Conditions Caused By Destruction Of The Power Generation Facilities; 2. Said Pos Are Now Fully Digitalized, In Term Of The Use Of The Online Fidelity Bond Application System And The National Government Collection And Disbursement System. As Such, Any Downtime Caused By Power Interruptions Are Detrimental To The Effectiveness And Efficiency Of The Delivery Of These Services To Po’s Clients And Stakeholders; 3. Existing Gen-sets Procured By This Ro For Said Pos Are No Longer Operational. Further, They Do Not Conform With The Specifications As Authorized By Local Authorities And Building Owners; B. Brief Description Of The Project Silent-type Diesel Generators (6.5 Kva) To Act As Back-up Power For The Provincial Offices Of Zamboanga Del Norte And Zamboanga City/zamboanga Sibugay In The Event Of Power Interruptions And Outrages. C. Proposed Budget For The Project The Project Of Two (2) Units Silent-type Diesel Generators (6.5 Kva) Shall Have A Budget Of One Hundred Fifty Pesos & 00/100 (p150,000.00). Inclusive Of All Applicable Taxes, Delivery, Warranty Provision And After Sale Services. D. Scope Of Works The Winning Suppliers (per Provincial Office) Shall Deliver To The Concerned Provincial Office The Required Equipment, I.e., One (1) Unit, Per Said Provincial Office Of Silent-type Diesel Generators (6.5 Kva), Together With The Observance Of Additional Terms And Conditions, To Wit: 1. The Equipment Should Be Top Of The Line From A Reputable Manufacturing Company With Certificate Of Authorized Dealership From The Manufacturing Company / Source Company, Capable Of Providing Aftersale Services To This Office, Which Includes: Regular Preventive Maintenance Check-ups And Enforcement Of Warranties; 2. To Submit Pertinent Documents Required For The Ro’s Accounting And Administrative Offices, Such As But Not Limited To: Submission Of Warranty Cards, Product Catalogue, Delivery Receipts, Pictures, Sales Invoice And Certificate Of Acceptance By The End- User. Assignment Unless Otherwise Expressly Stipulated Or The Prior Written Approval Of The Btr Is Secured, This Contract Or Any Portion Thereof, Shall Not Be Assigned Or Subject To Any Other Party/s. I.
