Notice Of Intent:the Bureau Of Land Management Intends To Solicit, Negotiate And Award A Sole-source Procurement (under Far Authority 6.302) To American Tower Corp, 116 Huntington Ave, 11th Floor, Ma 02116.background And Justification: The Blm’s Operational Mission Is To Ensure Employee Safety, Public Safety, And Resource Protection Through The Blm Communication Networks. There Are No Other Communication Sites In The Area That Will Provide The Required Coverage In The Resource Area. Potential Vendors That Are On The Mountaintop Have Site/vaults That Are Full And Or Don’t Meet Blm Standards. Testing Was Established That This Mountain Top Area Would Encompass The Required Coverage.
