The Project Includes The Removal Of Existing Equipment, Supply And Installation Of New Play Equipment, Safety Surfacing, And Associated Groundworks, With A Total Project Budget Of £50,000. Scope Of Works: 1. Removal Of Existing Equipment O Dismantling And Removal Of All Existing Play Equipment. O Safe And Environmentally Responsible Disposal Of Old Equipment. O Site Clearance And Preparation For Installation Of New Equipment. 2. New Play Equipment Supply And Installation O Provision Of A Range Of Durable, And Exciting Play Equipment For Children Aged 5-11 Years. O Installation Of Equipment To Ensure Compliance With British Standards (bs En 1176 And Bs En 1177). O Equipment Should Encourage Active Play, Social Interaction, Creativity, And Inclusive Access. O Consideration For A Mix Of Physical, Imaginative, And Sensory Play Elements. O Installation Of Suitable Safety Surfacing, Such As Rubber Mulch, Wet Pour, Or Another Impact-absorbing Surface. 3. Groundworks And Landscaping O Any Required Groundworks, Including Levelling, Drainage, And Landscaping. O Edge Treatment For Safety Surfaces. O Provision Of Benches And Bins As Appropriate. 4. Safety And Compliance O All Works Must Meet Health And Safety Regulations, Including Rospa Inspection Standards Upon Completion. O Contractors Must Ensure That All Materials Used Are Safe, Durable, And Long-lasting. O Provision Of Maintenance Guidelines And Guarantees For The Equipment. Budget: • The Total Budget For The Project, Including Removal Of Old Equipment And Installation Of New Equipment, Is £50,000 (ex Vat). Timeline: • Work To Begin In Spring/summer 2024. Proof Of Public Liability Insurance And Relevant Health And Safety Accreditations.
