The bidder is required to have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. They should provide details of works underway or contractally committed, and clients who may be contacted for further information on these contracts. Additionally, they should provide the total monetary value of construction work performed for each of the last five years. Specifically, the bidder should have experience of similar works completed, with a value of at least 2.5 Crore. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The limit of subcontracting is 50% of the Initial Contract Price, and proposals for subcontracting components of the works amounting to more than 10 percent of the Bid Price should be provided. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 2.5 Crore, but no specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder is required to provide information on the value of similar works completed. The bidder should undertake to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the contract, and have access to or availability of credit facilities, certified by the bankers, with a minimum of 20% of the estimated cost. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, and B is the value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next period. The bidder should have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of no less than the amount indicated, usually the equivalent of the estimated cash flow for 3 months in the peak construction period, which is Rs 1,92,17,726.40. The annual financial turnover amount is Rs 14,41,32,948.00, and 50% of the work value is Rs 4,80,44,316.00.
