The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the following formulas and values: 1. Average Annual Financial Turnover: 50% of Estimated Cost = Rs. 192.07 Lac (indexed) 2. Similar Work Experience: a. One similar work: 35% of Tender Value = Rs. 134.45 Lac b. Two similar works: 25% each of Tender Value = Rs. 96.04 Lac each Additionally, the bid capacity required can be calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A*N*2-B) Where A= Maximum value of Electrical engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the price level of the year indicated in Appendix) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N= Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited. B=Value (updated to the price level of the year indicated in Appendix) of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next one). Also, the bidder should have: - Liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities not less than 20% of the estimated cost, i.e., Rs 76.83 Lac. - Ability to invest a minimum of 20% of the contract value during implementation. The escalation factors for indexing the value of experience are: - Year Escalation Factor 2019-2020- 1.46 2020-2021- 1.33 2021-2022- 1.21 2022-2023- 1.10 2023-2024- 1.00 These formulas and values represent the bid capacity required in terms of financial turnover and experience in similar works.
