The bid capacity required in the given tender is calculated using the formula: Bidding Capacity = [ { A x N x 1.5 } - B ] Where: A = Maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last 05 years, taking into account the completed as well as works in progress, with the value of completed works brought to current costing level by enhancing at a simple rate of 7% per annum. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work, which is 2 years. B = Value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of work. Additionally, the bidder must also consider the financial requirements, including: - Performance Guarantee: 5% of the contract value, calculated as 0.05 * CV - Security Deposit / Retention Money: 2.5% of the tendered value, calculated as 0.025 * TV The bidder should have successfully physically completed similar work during the last 07 years, with a value of at least one of the following: (i) 01 similar completed work costing not less than Rs. 3.78 Cr. OR, (ii) 02 similar completed works each costing not less than Rs. 2.36 Cr. OR, (iii) 03 similar completed works each costing not less than Rs. 1.89 Cr. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum.
