The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - For works costing between Rs. 7.50 lakhs and Rs. 50 lakhs, a Degree holder in Engineering with at least 2 years practical experience of Works. - For works costing over Rs. 50 lakhs to 10 Crore, a Degree holder in Engineering with at least 4 years practical experience of Works. - For works costing over 10 Crore and up to Rs 50 Crore, one Graduate Engineer having minimum 3 years experience in Highway Construction for Road Projects or minimum 3 years experience in Bridge Construction for Bridge Construction Projects, or one Diploma Holder with minimum 6 years experience in Highway Construction for Road Projects or minimum 6 years experience in Bridge Construction for Bridge Construction Projects. - For works costing above 50 Crore, one Graduate Engineer with minimum 8 years experience in Highway Construction for Road Projects or minimum 8 years experience in Bridge Construction for Bridge Construction Projects, which includes minimum 3 years experience as Project Manager, and one Graduate Engineer with minimum 5 years experience in Highway Construction for Road Projects or minimum 5 years experience in Bridge Construction for Projects, or one Diploma Holder with minimum 10 years experience in Highway Construction for Road Projects or minimum 10 years experience in Bridge Construction for Bridge Construction Projects. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed one RCC Bridge/Steel Bridge in the last seven & current financial year, with a span equal to or greater than 80% of the longest span of the bridge proposed in this project or 100 m, whichever is less. - The cost of such similar project should be at least 25% of the Estimated Project Cost. - A project is considered substantially completed if more than 90% of the value of work has been completed. - The completion cost of works should be brought to a common base date of receipt of tender. - The bidder should submit a list of work executed in the past 7 years, along with a copy of the work order and completion certificate indicating the qualification amount. Available Bid Capacity (ABC) is calculated using the formula: ABC = 2.5 x A x N - B, where A is the maximum value of all Civil Engineering works in any one year during the last 5 financial years, updated to the current price level.
