The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed similar works on Major State Highway / National Highway / Border Roads projects in the last seven years. The similar works should meet one of the following criteria: - Three similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. - Two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work. - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 90% of the original contract price to be considered as having completed the work satisfactorily. The bidder should also have one Graduate Engineer (Civil) from a Govt recognized Institution with a minimum experience of 03 years or one Diploma Engineer (Civil) from a Govt recognized institution with a minimum experience of 06 years for execution of contracts. The value of "A" is to be calculated based on the maximum value of works done in any one year out of the last 5 years. The Available Bid Capacity (ABC) should be more than the estimated cost of work, calculated using the formula: 2.50 x A x N – B, where A is the maximum value of all Civil Engineering works in any one year during the last 5 financial years, updated to the current price level with an enhancement factor. The bidder needs to provide details of completed and ongoing works, including the completion cost of works and the value of ongoing works to be executed in the period of completion of the current bid.
