The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a Graduate Civil Engineer with 2 years of experience or a Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience. In terms of similar works completed, the bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed three similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work in the last seven and current financial years. Similar work refers to Bituminous Surfacing Works, and substantially completed works are those that are 90% completed. The estimated cost of the work is approximately 203.00 Lakh (Rupees Two Crore Three Lacs only). The labour component for the work under the contract is taken as 20% of the value of the work executed under the contract. The bidder is required to submit details of works completed, substantially completed, or ongoing in the last seven and current financial years, including specific details about each work. A performance certificate from the client for these works should also be submitted. Additionally, the bidder's available bid capacity shall be calculated based on the annual turnover of civil engineering works constructed in the last five years. The bidder shall submit balance sheets or certificates from a chartered accountant indicating this information. The bidder should not have poor or slow progress in running works, serious defects observed in work that stand unrectified, or cancelled or abandoned contracts with government unrealized recoveries. If any of these conditions are met, the bidder should submit details and reasons for the poor performance or defects.
