The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the project. - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the project. - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the project. Additionally, the bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years ending previous day of last date of submission of tenders. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work done at a simple rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the last date of submission of bids. The bidder is also required to have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, with a total monetary value of construction work performed during each of the last five years. Proposals for sub-Contracting components of the Works amounting to more than 10% of the Bid Price are required. The bidder must undertake to invest a minimum cash of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation and have access to or availability of credit facilities of a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value.
