The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the project - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the project - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the project. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of 67% of the value of contract/ contracts applied for over the last 5 years. The bidder should also demonstrate availability of personnel with adequate experience as required, and liquid assets and/or credit facilities of not less than the amount indicated, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value, and undertake to invest a minimum cash of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. Proposals for sub-contracting components of the works amounting to more than 10% of the bid price should be provided. The total monetary value of construction work performed during each of the last five years should be provided, along with details of works underway or contractually committed. The minimum annual financial turnover of the contractor should not be less than 67% of the Package Value. The bidder should have completed a total volume of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed works under Central Govt./State Govt. organization / Central Public Sector Undertaking within the country as mentioned below during the last 5 (five) years ending last day of submission of tender. No specific amount of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder should provide information on quantities of work performed in the past, including steel reinforcement, cement concrete, and brick work. The bidder should provide information on their existing commitments and on-going works, including the value of contracts, stipulated period of completion, and value of works remaining to be completed. The bidder should also provide information on works for which bids are already submitted, including the estimated value of works, stipulated period of completion, and date when the decision is expected. The bidder should have evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value, certified by the bankers. The bidder should undertake to invest a minimum cash of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. The percentage of the bid price for sub-contracting components is more than 10%. The bidder should have a valid license for executing Electrical works and Anti-Termite works, or enter into a collaboration/tie-up arrangement with a license holder having requisite experience. The bidder should provide financial reports for the last five years, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and auditor's reports. One undertaking requires the bidder to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract.
