The bidder should possess experience of having successfully completed Optical Fiber Cable Construction works. The required prior work experience is specified in terms of payment received for such completed works, which should be to the extent of at least 30% of the estimated cost of work put to tender during the last 3 Financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which the NIT is issued, or at least 60% of the estimated cost of work put to tender during the last 5 Financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which the NIT is issued. Alternatively, the experience should be for an amount equal to at least 60% of the estimated cost of work put to tender, with payment received for such works during the last 5 financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which the NIT is issued. The experience should be with specific entities such as BSNL/MTNL/TCIL/ITI/Rites/ Hindustan Cables Limited (HCL)/ PGCIL/ Rail Tel/ any Licensed Telecom service provider/ any other Govt. (Central/ State) undertaking having mandate to carry out OFC construction work or the PSUs directly themselves.
