This Building Is Equipped With A 562.5 Kva Caterpillar Emergency Diesel Generator At 600/347 Volts. The Emergency Generator Is Located In The Upper Mechanical Penthouse. The Emergency Generator Starts Automatically When Normal Power Is Interrupted Via An Engine Controller With Voltage Sensing Equipment And Provides Emergency Power For Three Automatic Transfer Switches (two Located In The Ph, One Located In The P2 Level Electricalroom). The Emergency Generator Was Installed In 1984 With Roughly 23-2400 Hours Of Run Time And Is At The End Of Its Useful Life.
