This Project Addresses The Need To Replace Aging Infrastructure And Upgrade The Tenant Emergency Power Distribution System And To Ensure Compliance With Current Codes And Standards. The Existing Indoor Diesel Generator, Installed In The Late 1990’s, Is Currently At Its Maximum Electrical Loading And Is Due To Be Upgraded. The Proposed Solution Is To Install A Single 1.75 Mw (1,759 Kva) Standby Generator. This Generator Will Serve The Tenant Emergency Power Needs. The Project Scope Includes The Removal Of Outdated Electrical Infrastructure Including But Not Limited To Tenant-owned Electrical Switchgear And Distribution Equipment. This Project Will Install The New Generator, Exterior Pad Mount Fuel System, New Electrical Switchgear And Distribution Equipment.

Full Replacement Of Existing Deteriorated Asphalt Shingles, On The Multi-elevation Roof Assembly, Is Required At The Rcmp Detachment. The Intent Of The Project Is To Protect The Integrity Of The Structures & Mitigate The Risk Of Future Damage To Interior Finishes. Supply All Materials & Labour Necessary For New Main Building Roof. Scope Includes: Remove/strip Existing Shingles, Including Fasteners & Roofing Membrane. Inspect Eaves & Fascia For Replacement & Inspect Sheathing After Removal Of Existing Shingles. Ensure Surface Is Firm & Dry, Without Ridges, Warps Or Voids & Properly Fastened. Any Damaged Sheathing Is To Be Identified During Demolition & Bgis Project Manager To Be Notified Immediately In Order To Secure Approval To Replace Damaged Sheathing. Replace Missing 'h' Clips As Necessary. Vent Pipes & Other Accessories Projecting Through The Roof Must Be In Place & Appropriate Roof Flashings Installed Prior To Shingling. Installation Of Full Waterproof Underlayment (ice And Water Shield) Is To Be Performed Over The Entirety Of All Roof Surfaces Prior To Shingling Occurs (as Per Client Request). New Asphalt Shingles To Match As Closely As Possible With Existing. At Eaves, Use A Starter Course Of Shingles, Tabs Reversed, Overhang 1/2". Install Ridges & Roof Vents Prior To Shingling And Nail As Per Manufacturer's Directions. Shingles To Be Architectural Style, Individually Tabbed Strip Shingle, Mineral Surfaced Asphalt With Fiberglass Felts Having A 30 Year Manufacturer's Warranty At A Minimum. Eavestrough And Downspouts In Good Condition. Contractor Responsible To Ensure Existing Heat Trace Is Removed Prior To Construction And Re-installed After Construction.
