To be eligible to participate in this tender, a Joint Venture (JV) must meet the following requirements: 1. The JV must be composed of partners from Japan and/or India and/or OECD member countries. 2. In the case of goods and services (except consulting services), the Japanese partners must: - Be nationals of Japan or juridical persons incorporated and registered in Japan. - Have facilities for producing or providing the goods and services in Japan. - Actually conduct their business in Japan. 3. Similarly, for Indian partners: - They must be nationals of India or juridical persons incorporated and registered in India. - Have facilities for producing or providing the goods and services in India. - Actually conduct their business in India. - In the case of a juridical person, a majority of the subscribed shares must be held by nationals of India. - The majority of the full-time directors of the company must be nationals of India. 4. For OECD member countries' partners, they must be nationals of OECD member countries. 5. A juridical person incorporated outside of Japan can be considered a Japanese partner if it: - Is a subsidiary included in the scope of consolidation and factored into the aggregated accounting figure of a consolidated financial statement of a Japanese company. - Is registered in the country or area where it was incorporated. - Has facilities for producing or providing goods and services. - Actually conducts its business in the country or area of incorporation.
