The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost of the project - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost of the project - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the project. The value of similar works completed is considered in the calculation of bidding capacity. The cost of work is mentioned in Rs. in Crores. For evaluation of experience in eligible similar nature of work during last Seven years, a maximum of 20 Marks will be awarded, with 60% marks for minimum eligibility criteria, 100% marks for twice the minimum eligibility criteria or more, and in between on pro-rata basis. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works under Central Govt./ State Govt. organization/ Central Public Sector Undertaking within the country during the last 7 years ending last day of submission of tender. A specific formula is used for calculation of bidding capacity: Bidding Capacity = {[AxNx2]-B}, where A is the maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last three years. The bidder needs to submit the supporting documents for calculation of A & B, including the cost of work, date of start and completion, work done, and balance work, with values in crore (10 million).
