The purpose of the project is to select a number of private contractors who, on the basis of a prepared tender document, submit tenders for watercourse maintenance. After the tenders have been assessed, the operational tasks in the tendered contracts are transferred to the contractor(s) who have submitted the most economically advantageous tender. The tender for watercourse maintenance is divided into 3 independent subcontracts covering a larger geographical area, where the maintenance is to be carried out with crop cutting boats, machines with a harvesting basket and manually. The contracts are therefore technically as well as logistically demanding.
