Fund Management Services-WMCA has engaged with Constellia for the provision of Fund Management Services to assist in the distribution of the Grant Funds.

DPS10 - Path 2 Apprenticeships - CAN-Contract Award Notice to publish the decision to award contracts following the DPS10 Path 2 Apprenticeships Programme call-off competition from the WMCA Adult Skills DPS. Contracts will be awarded to 7 suppliers for an initial duration of 12 months to 31st January 2025 with 4 x 12-month options to extend until a final expiry date of 31st January 2029

DPS13 - Multiply Wave 2-Notice to confirm the award of contracts for the WMCAs Multiply Wave 2 Programme to provide maths training to adults. Contract start date is 01/04/2024 with an expiry date of 31/03/2025 and no options to extend.

Barriers to Rail Frieght-1. To gather the evidence which will enable the quantification of the potential for modal shift of tonne-km (as a proxy for CO2e) from road to rail in the short and medium term. 2. To engage with stakeholders in those areas where there is the greatest potential for mode shift, understand the barriers that may be blocking any changes in the short and medium term and to understand where Midlands Connect may be best placed to engage with and address these barriers.

Multimodal network resilience-To scope and develop a database of resilience plans on the road and rail network, analysing and identifying hotspots and mapping and modelling these out in the Midlands.

Midlands Highway Assignment Model-Development of a series of representative highways assignments to provide an assessment of Midlands Connect's Strategic Transport Plan, integrating land use changes in future technology and expectations for changes in freight traffic. There are also associated activities to develop visualisation tools for travel forecasts and to provide data for the calculation of carbon impacts.

West Midlands Industrial Symbiosis Demonstrator-The WMCA's circular economy area includes the delivery of an industrial symbiosis programme as a priority action. Industrial symbiosis involves the direct re-use of one company's waste streams as another's raw materials, reprocessing of by-products or sharing underutilised power, water and/or steam.
