Dear Bidders, Please be notified that the RFQ_21_11 has been extended to 7th May 2021 (information shared on the 26 April 2021) UNFPA requires the provision of services for Software Development firm for Chopela mama MVP. Chopela-Mama comes as a new life-saving ride-hailing platform, aiming to bring women in remote communities closer to their nearest health facility by connecting them to formal and informal drivers, allowing expectant mothers to reach obstetric care on time, safely, and at no cost. Likewise, Chopela-Mama app will be a bridge connecting nurses and pregnant women whenever it is needed. This is especially relevant in the context of COVID19, as pregnant women are facing additional constraints to access health facilities (limitation of movements, reduced income, etc). By launching this pilot initiative, UNFPA is taking action that will improve the transportation of mothers to remote communities to the closest health facility.
