PHOTOCHEMICAL ASSESSMENT MONITORING - OZONE PRECURSOR STUDY-As Ozone monitors of RLC AAQMS network within and outside RLC, show exceedance of Ozone on recurring basis, a PAMS (Photochemical Assessment Monitoring (minimum of four locations)) program is planned to establish to backtrack and identify Ozone precursors (emissions sources for reactive organic compounds - non-ethane, non-methane organic compounds) within RLIC. Also, the long range transport of precursors of Ozone and chemical transformation in ambient air necessitates additional data beyond sources in RLC. To identify predominant sources of Ozone exceedances, the use of regional scale models using data from other industrial areas such as Mesaieed & Dukhan and urban areas (Al-Khor, Doha, Al-Wakra) may be required and will be considered accordingly. “
