NTNU-AUR-Lab assignment is to carry out field operations with underwater robots and surface robots for research and teaching, both for internal and external users. This can mean operations outside normal working hours, and the tenderer must reckon on some work that must be done in the evenings and sometimes at weekends. This includes operations, maintenance, data processing, and minor development projects. These are mainly solved by the permanent staff in the laboratory. However occasionally there are situations that require us to hire in personnel as we have too few employees for the amount of work, or because we need other competence than what our own employees have. There are situations where it is not possible to find the correct competence internally in the laboratory or at NTNU. It is not always possible to solve this with recruitment or internal training due to the time horizon and budgets for the projects.
