Purchase of Second Hand School Buses-(SC Ref:740742) In previous years, issues were experienced with the traditional approach via a national operator for school transport resulting in some school pupils having no transport to and from school. To prevent against this situation arising in the future, the council has purchased 10 second-hand buses / coaches as a contingency measure in the event issues arise again to ensure the council would be in a position to react quickly and efficiently.
