Meath County Council as the Contracting Authority proposes to establish and operate a single supplier Framework Agreement for specialist Transportation Consultancy Services for traffic and transport studies and assessments. The Contracting Authority may run call off contracts in accordance with the Framework Agreement for an individual project with the Participant with an estimated value of approximately €100,000 per annum. The Contracting Authority may choose to not use the framework and to procure Transportation Consultancy Services outside of the Framework Agreement.

Legal Services in relation to Parking Fines Prosecutions And Parking Legislation Advice which comprises of the instigation of legal proceedings for unpaid parking fines with associated administration, representation on behalf of Meath County Council in court, responding to queries from alleged offenders, Meath County Council representatives and providing legal advice on parking fines and parking legislation. Management of Meath Dog Shelter Service at Riggins,Dunshaughlin, County Meath. The contractor shall use the premises for the purpose of the Act to manage the provision of suitable, secure, safe and clean accommodation for the detention of abandoned, stray or unwanted dogs. Meath County Council reserves the right to carry out regular unannounced inspections of the facility including viewing impounded dogs and inspecting all relevant records. The contractor will be obliged to comply with all directions from the appointed Council Officials in this regard. The premises are of adequate size and contain sufficient kennels to cope with expected throughput of 300-500 dogs per annum or up to 20 dogs at any one time.

Meath County Council currently have 31 sites across the county for bottle, aluminum can and clothes banks. Some of the sites are privately owned and others are council owned see table 1. Currently each site segregates the glass into the three colours but Meath County Council are open to amalgamation of glass. There are aluminum can collection bins at each site. There are also clothes banks at 12 of the sites. This tender will cover the servicing of all three streams of waste.
