Campsfield Immigration Removal Centre (IRC) Phase 1 Refurbishment-The currently closed Campsfield House was identified as a site to be re-opened following a review of sites across the country to support the government's priorities to increase capacity Upon review, the overall quality of the building was not fit-for-purpose. Significant works were identified as being necessary for the foundations, structure, fabric, and the full demolition and rebuild of the House Block and first/last night buildings.
