The Health Service Executive (HSE) on behalf of Organ Donation and Transplant Ireland (ODTI) is seeking responses from suitably qualified candidates for the provision of a quality and compliance consultancy for Organ Donation Transplant Ireland. Contract will be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year. The overriding requirement is to build on developments to date in the area to deliver a quality focused organ donation and transplant service and to do so in line with European Standards as set out in Statutory Instrument (SI) 325 (2012), European Union (Quality and Safety of Human Organs Intended for Transplantation) Regulations 2012.

The Provision of Consultancy Services to support the office of the Chief Operations Officer of e-Health (COO). e-Health are seeking Consultancy Services to work in collaboration with the COO and TO functions.

Due to the high levels of protection against COVID-19 in the population resulting from vaccination and natural infection, the level of harm caused by COVID-19 has significantly reduced. As the disease moves from pandemic to endemic status there will be a gradual transition from widespread testing and contact tracing for active cases towards a more targeted individual testing model similar to other respiratory illnesses, primarily delivered through primary care. As part of its transition planning, the HSE is preparing so that it can respond to any possible future requirement to increase testing capacity, either temporarily in the event of a surge via the National Ambulance Service (NAS), or in the event of an emergency response scenario

The resources are supporting the development and delivery of a multi-year eHealth cyber & transformation strategy developed in conjunction with the Department of Health which will shape the future delivery of patient care through transformational technology.

The specialist Software Developer is required to lead, develop and assist the application programming interface (AIP) within the e Health division. Main body of work includes the Individual Health Identifier (IHI) programme of work.
