European Commission is seeking the support of a contractor for the implementation of the initiative 'Communities for Climate' (C4C). This initiative aims at supporting a series of organised local communities wishing to undertake local actions against climate change. The purpose of this pilot action is to contribute to the fight against climate change by supporting local community-led initiatives. The aims are to spot new and innovative ideas for citizens engagement for climate change, develop new models of citizens climate actions, help the established communities develop new activities addressing climate issues locally and to assess the potential of this type of action in the broad framework of EU action.
