The overall subject of the contract is to assist the EC Representation in its communication activity in Malta aimed at increasing public and media attention to the policy developments and strategic discussions at European Union level. This is to be done by facilitating the organisation of events and campaigns. These activities will be aimed at stimulating public interest, debate and consultation in Malta on the main political and strategic issues on the EU agenda. The contractors shall provide advice and logistical and technical support to the EC Representation in organising the events.

Cleaning services and waste removal services for the Europe House premises located in Valletta, Malta. Standard cleaning services are to be provided on a daily basis, together with the possibility of extra cleaning services that are not included in the standard tasks, but may be requested by the contracting authority during the course of the contract.

In the framework of its information and communication activities, the EC Representation in Malta signed contract with a service provider to assist with its online community management across the representation's social media platforms. The aim is to supply services to provide the general public, other specified target groups, and the media with information on Commission policies. The services requested by the Commission should enable it not just to improve the coordination of information and communication activities, but also to further develop its information and communication policy. Ultimately the aim is to make the activities, objectives and policies of the Commission better known to the general public via the media, especially social media and the internet using the following digital tools: the contracting authority's website (www.ec.europa.eu/malta); the contracting authority's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any others); a monthly electronic newsletter.
