The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) is seeking tenders for the supply and delivery of three (3) tractors, divided into 3 separate Lots as below: Lot 1 – Supply & Delivery of tractor 155 – 170 HP rated Lot 2 – Supply & Delivery of tractor 125 – 135 HP rated Lot 3 – Supply & Delivery of tractor 80 – 100 HP rated

The Department of Education (DoE) intends to put in place a multi-supplier framework agreement, for the Provision Schools Payment Solution for the Irish Schools Sector of Department of Education. The Competition is divided into 2(two) Lots.

A Whole Genome Sequencing Service is required by the Department of Psychiatry in Trinity College Dublin. The department is research focused and involved in a wide range of basic science and clinical research. The department has internationally recognized research groups in Genomics, Neuroimaging, Molecular Neuroscience and Brain Health/Ageing. This research project is focused on identifying and investigating the genetic architecture of schizophrenia and related disorders. Researchers at Trinity College Dublin are currently working on a project to perform Whole Genome Sequencing of large multiply affected pedigrees, with the hypothesis that at least a small proportion of pedigrees will contain rare genetic variation of strong effect. In addition to the initial requirement for TCD there are a number of participating Institutions listed that may award contracts under this framework over the four year period.

Tenders are sought for the Provision of Accredited Laboratory Analysis Services for Kildare County Council (EPA Licensed Sites) over a four (4) year period. Kildare County Council as part of its obligations for site under the EPA Licences undertake detailed water and air monitoring programmes. These programmes include sampling of groundwater, surface waters and leachates. Also included in this scope is the provision of dust analysis. Kildare County Council are seeking tenders from competent contractors to undertake these accredited laboratory analysis services.

University of Galway request the supply of a Spinning Disk Confocal Microscope for Live-Cell Imaging for use in a biomaterials, medical device, and tissue engineering lab. The principal purpose of the instrument is to enable high resolution confocal imaging of fixed and live biological samples stained with fluorescent tags. The instrument must be capable of multi-channel fluorescent imaging (405nm, 488nm, 561nm, and 638nm wavelengths). The instrument must have an incubation chamber for maintaining live biological samples during imaging (temperature and CO2 controlled). Finally, the instrument must also possess a fully automated stage (XYZ control) for imaging of large biological samples.

The University’s Buildings and Estates Department is seeking the services of competent Health & Safety Consultants. All interested Health & Safety Consultants must have a proven track record in successfully implementing health & safety management systems/structures in large scale multi-disciplined, highly serviced and diverse buildings in a live environment with access to the public.

The EPA is establishing an Multi- Supplier framework agreement for the procurement of analytical services for a period of up to two years with an option for two subsequent 12 month extensions. This framework will be for water quality analysis of selected parameters in relation to the EPA's WFD and licence compliance monitoring programmes. This WFD monitoring programme has been established to satisfy Ireland's obligations in respect of the monitoring requirements of the WFD. The EPA licence compliance monitoring programme is set out on an annual basis by the EPA.

University College Cork, Tyndall is seeking to purchase a 300mm High Power Semi-Automatic Prober (Lot 1) and High Power Parameter Analyzer (Lot 2). Tenders are sought for the supply and delivery of a 300mm High Power Semi-Automatic Prober (Lot 1), and a self-contained and standalone Mainframe Platform High Power Parameter Analyzer capable of delivering high current and high voltage output (Lot 2). The Specialty Products and Services Centre at Tyndall fabricate and test a wide range of thin film materials, wide band gap semiconductors, MEMS, composite materials, polymers, and hard coatings. The electrical properties and responses of these materials/devices are of significant importance. Consequently, a multi-function Semi-Automatic 300mm High Power Prober system is required to study the electrical properties of these materials and devices under a range of temperature conditions.

Tenders are sought for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of a Digital Pathology Slide Scanner for University College Dublin (UCD). This system will form part of the imaging pathology core facility in UCD. This system is critical to achieve the stated objectives to harness digital pathology imaging and AI to identify breast & prostate cancer patients with early-stage disease.

The Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine request the supply, delivery, and installation of an Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction System. The instrument must be compatible with Magnetic Bead TNA, RNA/DNA purification from broad range of samples including animal tissue, swabs, blood, body fluids, cells, serum, or environmental samples such as dust and swabs. The DAFM Laboratories Virology Division provides diagnostic testing and research for a number of diseases caused by viruses infecting animals. In particular, this includes a number of Group 3 viruses, exotic to Ireland, that can cause severe animal disease and in some cases are a serious hazard to employees. Many of these viruses are highly infectious for livestock and therefore diagnostics require this work to be carried out at Biosafety level 3 plus (BSL3+) containment.
