The core objective of the Services is the provision of two Active Travel Design Offices (AcTDO's) providing design services to assist in the delivery of Active Travel projects, predominately in DCC, and across the adjacent LA's when being delivered by DCC. This Multi Party framework agreement will be for a duration of 3 years with an option to extend for 2 years. A total of 3 economic operator will be accepted into this framework.Two AcTDO will be based in DCC’s offices with the DCC Active Travel Programme Office team in Dublin’s City Centre. Each AcTDO will comprise of 7 personnel provided by the Service Provider and based in these offices (the “Core Design Team”), supplemented by off-site resources provided by the Service Provider. The primary role of each AcTDO will be to develop various active travel schemes through the design and planning stages, together with the development of tender documents for construction and the management of the tender process for construction.

Multi-party Framework of Demolition Contractors for Dublin City Council-It is proposed to establish a Multi-Party Framework for Demolition Contractors for Dublin City Council.It is anticipated that the works will consist of demolition (former flat blocks, old housing stock, derelict buildings and other buildings or structures etc), site clearance, removal of asbestos, provision of weathering and support to adjoining buildings, fencing and temporary works. Also included are minor building and landscaping works associated with the rendition of sites as non-derelict. ...

It is proposed to establish a Multi-Party Framework for Demolition Contractors for Dublin City Council. It is anticipated that the works will consist of demolition (former flat blocks, old housing stock, derelict buildings and other buildings or structures etc), site clearance, removal of asbestos, provision of weathering and support to adjoining buildings, fencing and temporary works. Also included are minor building and landscaping works associated with the rendition of sites as non-derelict. Weathering of adjoining buildings, façade retention and/or temporary works may be required in certain instances. Design of temporary works and façade retention works may form part of the works. Asbestos surveys and removal may also form part of the works. The Framework may also be used for certain enabling works associated with development of sites, including demolitions and service diversions. .

It is the policy of the City Council that a Basement Impact Assessment (BIA) is to accompany all planning applications that include a basement. This competition is to establish a framework for the engagement of third party Auditors as professionally qualified assessors of BIA`s, acting on behalf of and working in partnership with the DCC Environment & Transport (E&T) Department. The BIA “Auditor” to be engaged by DCC is to be experienced in the geological, hydrological and hydrogeological, geotechnical and structural aspects of infrastructure including buildings with basements in a city environment. The Auditor shall be appointed to advise and represent DCC`s interests throughout the entire planning process for the particular BIA and planning application being assessed. Dublin City Council (DCC) intents to establish a multi-party Framework Agreement for various types of Building Surveying Services via an Open Tender Procedure. The initial contract ‘Libraries and Offices Surveying Pilot Project’ will establish the Framework Agreement for potential future Mini – Competitions. The initial contract will be awarded to the Tenderer with the most economically advantageous tender for the ‘Libraries and Offices Surveying Pilot Project’. The Framework Members will also be ranked, based on the above assessment, to establish a cascade ranking, which will only be used in certain circumstances which satisfy specific conditions. It is envisaged that the Ten (10) highest scoring Tenderers (subject to receipt of sufficient number valid tenders) will be admitted to the Framework Agreement.
