Eaglepicher Is The Only Qualified Source In Accordance With Far Part 9. (2) Program Description: The Nawcwd Is Requesting 13 Additional Thermal Batteries In Support Of Pma-242. (3) Required Capabilities: Key Requirements Are Outlined In The Specification Document Nawc-ch-3471 (attachment 1) And The Source Control Drawing 704as14323 (attachment 2). the Thermal Battery Must Pass Application Specific Use Reviewed By Government Nawcwd Battery Subject Matter Experts, Nawcwd System Safety, And The Non-nuclear Munitions Safety Board (nnmsb), As Well As System Level Environmental Qualification Testing. Since The Thermal Battery Is A Critical Subcomponent Of The High Speed Anti-radiation Missile (harm), The Thermal Battery Must Be A Form, Fit, And Function Drop-in Replacement For The Current Battery Supplied By Eaglepicher (part Number – 704as14323).
