Provision of Services for the Completion of GSI’s Deliverables on the CHERISH project

Services required for vessel maintenance on 6 survey boats between 8 and 20m length. Services will include supply of repair and fabrication facilities along with replacement of specialist equipment including electronics/electrical and mechanical components. Maintenance schedules will also need to be managed and delivered for all systems including hull and machinery. Close cooperation and liason with the Client will be necessary for all work and services. The services need to be deliverable on a Nationwide basis either directly or sub contracted suppliers under the same terms of the contract. The value of the contract will be determined by the services drawn down and a ceiling of one million is the maximum allowed under the contract.

The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, as represented by the Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI), seeks the provision of a medium wave hyperspectral camera for use in the existing core scanner within GSI. Provision of the camera includes integration of the camera with the existing setup and training of staff in image acquisition and processing. Geological Survey Ireland (GSI), seeks an airborne geophysical survey comprising approximately 120,000 line km over three annual surveys between 2021 and 2023 in Ireland. With the option of an additional 30,000 line km to accommodate a master grid and additional surveying if required. Data to be collected includes magnetic, gamma-ray spectrometry and electromagnetic, ground conductivity measurements. All processed data and corresponding reports shall be delivered annually, at the end of each survey season
