The contracting authority plans to enter a concession contract for the investment, operation, and maintenance of street furniture dedicated to the public and public use in Sandnes municipality and Sola municipality. The furniture shall be financed through commercial use of advertising areas that will be available on the street furniture. Two (2) contractual relationships shall be established, one for Sandnes municipality and one for Sola municipality. Current street furniture consists of bus shelters/shelters with and without advertising, public toilets with advertising, freestanding advertisement installations, fixed ad-free benches and fixed ad-free waste containers. The objective of this procurement is to enter into service concession contracts with a tenderer for the operation and maintenance of urban furniture in return for being able to advertise on the urban furniture in Haugesund. This shall occur through commercial utilisation of the existing and future advertising surfaces. The concession contract for urban furniture financed by advertisements shall cover the contracting authority's need for investment, operation and maintenance of shelters and stop operations. The procurement's value is estimated to be above the EEA threshold. Note that the contracting authority has given a desired volume. This is to be understood as the maximum volume.
