Clúid Housing hereby invites tenders from experienced housing Developers to submit proposals for developing social residential schemes within the proximity of public services and amenities in any of the locations set out in the provisions of this Request for Tenders ('RFT')

Architectural and Ancillary Services comprising Designer, Design Certifier, Assigned Certifier, PSDP, Landscape Architect and Fire Consultancy Services to provide design and expertise relating to the development of social housing. There are 2 separate social housing projects in Kildare: Lot 1: Development of Social Housing on the Dominican Lands Athy Co. Kildare. Lot 2: Development of Social Housing on former ESB site, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

Turagh Crescent is located off Main Street in Cappaghmore. The site is accessed through an existing Local authority development constructed in 2007 and adjacent to a community care day centre. The site is in two parts. The first is a small pocket of land adjacent to the last house in Turagh Crescent and is owned by Limerick City & County Council. The larger portion of the site (1.25ha) is currently used for agricultural purposes and is owned by the Housing Agency. Overall the scheme has a capacity of c 45 units. The scheme may be built in two phases but will be planned as a single development. It is anticipated that the project will be subject to the Part 8 planning process. All the end units will be used for social housing and/ or affordable housing.
