Support DG MOVE in addressing new business opportunities as well as new challenges of autonomous vessel operations on inland waterways, supporting the digitalisation and sustainability challenges of the EU.

The objective of the study is the collection, calculation, presentation and analysis of data on external and infrastructure costs of transport, notably updating the 2019 Handbook. The study will provide ready-to-use datasets supporting transport policy and the proper integration of transport related issues in other EU policy processes.

The action’s objectives are to: 1. develop a series of data-driven deep dive policy reports on key issues and challenges that the EU's start-up ecosystem is facing. These reports to be targeted at investors, start-up founders, policy makers and other stakeholders in the EU Start-up ecosystem; 2. organise events (e.g. workshops, policy debates and a summit) targeting investors; European corporates; founders and Policy makers in the EU. The events are to be focused on key themes and challenges of importance to startup ecosystems across the EU that can be addressed by smart policy initiatives.

The aim of this call for tenders is to develop a unique digital platform that will encompass and enrich information and data of the available tools/platforms of the JU. The Hub is expected to provide the necessary tools and capabilities to better collect and manage the knowledge concerning its activities and funded projects, as well as to facilitate the access to non-confidential information to its members and the wider public. The goal is to gradually turn the JU into the central knowledge repository and access point for hydrogen in Europe, and the Programme Office into a knowledge intensive organisation.

METIS is a mathematical model simulating the operation of the European electricity and gas systems and markets on an hourly basis over a year. The addition of hydrogen as an energy carrier have allowed using the model in the Impact Assessment for revised gas markets and hydrogen directive and regulation. Further ongoing developments address the better integration of demand with supply sectors and a finer regional granularity. In order to secure the model in future policy cycles, extensions would be necessary along the following three dimensions: 1. a representation of energy markets including the behaviour of buyers and sellers; 2. the inclusion of all demand sectors including a linkage of demand in these sectors to economic activity as represented by macro-economic models; 3. the interaction with energy systems outside the EU that have a key impact on the EU energy system, e.g. via exports of electricity, gas and hydrogen.

In this call the HealthData@EU infrastructure and central platform shall be understood as a central platform providing cross-border services to its users. The work carried out through this call for tenders is expected to support the development and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure/platform of services of HealthData@EU, by: 1. preparing the requirements, specifications, and architecture model for the HealthData@EU infrastructure/platform – Task 2; 2. developing, deploying, and maintaining HealthData@EU infrastructure/platform according to the DevSecOps approach – Task 3; 3. providing test solutions and support for the testing – Task 4; 4. ensuring a proper handover – Task 5.

Modelling is a prerequisite for consistent energy projections and for answering questions on the effects of policies. The modelling contract comprises scenarios on current trends and policies (‘baseline’) and scenarios and variants, reflecting alternative policies (e.g. on RES, energy efficiency, nuclear, etc.) or framework conditions (energy import prices, macroeconomic developments). Given the long lifetime of energy investment and the long-term impacts of energy use the time horizon for the modelling should be at least up to 2050. The framework contract, with duration of 4 years, defines the types of modelling services and their conditions for delivery without details on the content. In order to ensure better communication with country energy experts, the modelling should be undertaken country by country. For this reason, a regional disaggregation of all results at EU level and for neighbouring regions, notably the Energy Community, will be provided.

The purpose of the contract is to support DG INTPA and DG NEAR in improving the quality of performance, institutional learning, and accountability for a better targeted and more sustainable impact of EU external action. The contract provides support services for performance, results, evaluation, knowledge management.

Purchase of automotive industry statistics and data – previous contract with IHS Markit signed in 2019 for the duration of 12 months, renewable three times (in November of each year). The fourth renewal was in November 2022, ended on 25.11.2023. A new call for tender will have to be launched, to start in December 2023.
