In order to ensure the broader input knowledge and subsequent buy-in of European airport stakeholders into the SESAR 3 programme and in line with the provisions of Article 143 of the Single Basic Act, the SESAR 3 JU considers key to continue availing itself with the support of the prospective contractor in the domain of expertise in European airports. The SESAR 3 JU is looking for the advice, assistance and representation of a concerted European airport voice for the needs of SESAR. The SESAR 3 programme will require airport expertise by acquiring: • horizontal airport contribution in the SESAR 3 programme; • access to communication platform(s) for outreach to all categories of European airports; and • capacities to ensure European airports are suitably and equitably participating and informed in view of the development, verification/validation, demonstrations and deployments of SESAR results.

This action aims at developing standardised (pre-normative) methods relevant to eco-design and energy labelling of photovoltaics. In particular, there would be two sets of methods developed: • standardised method for the calculation and testing of the yield of bifacial photovoltaic modules; and • standardised method for the measurement and testing of the long-term degradation of the photovoltaic modules performance (some activity started with the preparation of the IEC 63209 standard). The main aspects of interest (e.g. thermal fatigue, damp heat, etc.) should be identified. The research should cover at least: • characterisation (e.g. insulation test, wet leakage current test) and stabilisation techniques to be applied; • procedure for the collection of testing samples; • definition of the testing protocols, testing sequence and, when applicable, pass criteria, related to the various aspects of interest (e.g. thermal fatigue, damp heat, etc.).
