The trailing research will include both continual reports on the implementation and results of the trials, and a final evaluation of the projects individually and together.

This voluntary ex-ante transparency notice for a more inclusive working life 2019 - 2022 (the IA agreement) was signed between the government and the main labour market organisations on 18 December 2018 and later extended until 2024. The purpose of the contract is to create a labour market with room for everyone by preventing leave of absence due to illness and dropout, thereby contributing to increasing employment. Training in working environment work is an instrument in the IA agreement, wherein the social partners have a special responsibility for follow-up. The contract states that the organisations will contribute to better and knowledge-based training in working environment work. Training in the working environment and targeted working environment work will be based on knowledge and expertise from the working environment initiative and will be included in the training of managers, employee representatives and safety delegates.

The temporary changes to the law were made due to an extraordinary situation. The aim of the procurement is to get an evaluation of whether the temporary changes to the law are accurate, appropriate, and usable, with a focus on how and to what degree the temporary rules are important for and influence the municipalities and counties' handling of large arrivals of persons fleeing Ukraine in a short period of time. The procurement will give the ministry continual knowledge of the temporary rules and whether they function as intended - whilst they are in force.

"Søkelys på arbeidslivet" is funded by the Ministry of Employment and Inclusion and, up to now, the Institute for Social Research (ISF) has been the editor of the journal since its inception in 1987. Since 2007, «Søkelys på arbeidslivet» been a scientific consultant-based journal (level 1). In the call for tenders in 2018, ISF was awarded a contract to publish a journal corresponding to "Søkelys på arbeidslivet" for a period lasting up to 2022. The Ministry of Labor and Inclusion wishes to advertise for a new quarterly journal similar to "Søkelys på arbeidslivet". The Ministry's purpose with announcing this assignment is to ensure that specific requirements for disclosure are safe guarded.

The Directorate for Labour and Welfare has carried out a four-year pilot where 6 pilot municipalities were responsible for the labour market measure 'permanent facilitated work' (hereafter VTA). The aim of the pilot has been to get a basis for assessing the advantages and disadvantages of a possible transfer of responsibility for VTA from the government to the municipalities. The pilot was ended at the end of 2021. The contracting authority would now like to evaluated the pilot.
