The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last 7 years. The specific requirements are as follows: - For tenders having advertised value up to Rs 50 lakh, no technical and financial credentials are required. - For other tenders, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. - In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder should submit a list of works completed in the last three financial years, giving details such as description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award and date of scheduled completion of work, Date of actual start, actual completion, and final value of contract. Additionally, the bidder should also submit a list of works on hand, indicating description of work, contract value, and approximate value of balance work yet to be done, and date of award. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subcontractors - Rs 50 lakh for tenders and subletting of work where no technical and financial credentials or previous work experience is required.
