The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar works, such as project execution in one or more sectors like electrical transmission, sub-transmission, or electrical distribution. The type of construction works undertaken should be of the nature of one or more of the following: EHT lines, HT lines, LT lines, distribution transformers, or substations. For the purpose of evaluation, the bidder should have completed works only, with the following requirements: - Experience in similar work under a single contract, costing not less than 50% of the estimated amount of the project. - Or, experience in similar works under two contracts, each costing not less than 30% of the estimated amount of the project. - Or, experience in similar works under three contracts, each costing not less than 20% of the estimated amount of the project. In the case of a Joint Venture (JV), collectively, the JV partners should meet the criteria of projects, and each JV partner should have completed at least one contract costing not less than 20% of the estimated amount of the project. Additionally, for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or Turnkey Contractors (TKCs), specific requirements are mentioned, including the successful supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of certain equipment. In terms of monetary values, the Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of the bidder for the best three years out of the last five financial years should not be less than 30% of the estimated cost of the project, and the bidder should have liquid assets and/or evidence of access to or availability of fund-based credit facilities of not less than 10% of the estimated cost of the project.
