GENERAL CONDITIONS 1) The tenderer should deposit EMD as per tender notice. 2) All tender documents as per requirement of tender notice & document should be scanned & uploaded. 3) The following documents should also be scanned & uploaded in Technical Bid without which financial bid will not be opened. a- A copy of registration with lighting department of NMC, Nagpur. b- The experience certificate should be issued by the authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer of any Govt./Semi Govt./NIT/M.S.E.D.C.L./Local Body of similar type of work. c- A copy of certificate of registration / NOC with the E.P.F. Organisation India. d- A copy of valid Income Tax Return submitted for current Assessment year. e- A copy of Certificate of Registration under GST. 4) If the rates quoted by the tenderer is more than “10% below” the estimated rates he has to deposit (within 5 days from the scheduled date of tender opening) an additional S.D. amounting to 1% of quoted cost for each percent or part of percent for more than “10% Below” quoted by him. 5) Tenderer should submit MoU with the Manufacturer for the work providing, erecting, testing & commissioning of highmast with raising & lowering mechanism. Signature of Tenderer with stamp Executive Engineer (Elect) N.M.C., Nagpur Office of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation , Nagpur General rules and conditions 1 .Nagpur Municipal Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason. NMC also reserves the right to accept the tender in part or distribute the tender amount into the number of contractors / tenderers. If the contractor refuses to carry out the work on ground, that his tender has not been accepted in full , his earnest money deposit will be forfeited and he will be responsible for any loss, on account of such refusal. 2. Successful tenderers will have to execute an agreement at his cost on stamp paper of required value within 3 days, from the date of letter confirming him about acceptance of his tender & E.M.D. will be treated as initial security deposit. 3. Tender will be valid for 120 days, from the date of opening of tender. 4. NMC reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, if the work of contractor is not found upto the mark (i.e. unsatisfactory) & NMC may take any action as deem fit against the contractor and contractor shall have no claim for the loss, If there happens to him due to such action. 5. From the bill of contractor, 4% S.D. will be deducted. In addition, NMC will be entitled to deduct any taxes applicable from time to time, as per prevailing rules. The E.M.D. deposited with the tender will be treated as initial S.D. 6. In addition to all terms and conditions in this tender documents, all the terms and provision of the conditions of contract, laid under resolution No. 77 of 15th April 1961 of NMC, will be applicable, which is attached herewith. 7. If there is any loss to NMC property, due to negligence of contractor / his staff, then whole responsibility will be of contractor and in such case, loss will be recovered from the contractor. 8. NMC’s competent authority or its representative, will assess the work allotted to tenderer. 9. If the contractor fails to complete the work as per schedule, then the work may be executed from other tenderer at his risk & cost and NMC may terminate his contract . 10. E.M.D. & S.D. will be refunded, after satisfactory completion of defect liability period and submission of certificate regarding depositing of the EPF amount. Contractor is not entitled to claim for any interest on it. 11. In case of any dispute, decision of Hon’ble Municipal Commissioner, will be final and binding on both the parties. 12.
