Providing, Driving/boring and casting bored Cast in-situ Reinforced Cement Concrete Pile (As per IS :2911 of 1997) in M-40 grade Design Mix Cement Concrete using maximum aggregate size of 20mm machine crushed graded stone aggregate in all types of strata including boring in soil of all type, soft rock, hard rock, boulder etc.to the required depth as decided by the Engineer-in-charge including chiselling in rock and socketing in hard rock as per design requirement, bailing out water, flushing, placing of concrete with tremmie pipe, Chipping off of pile top to remove laitance concrete above cut off level with all contractor's material, cement, labour,tools,plants with all lead and lift etc. complete.as per specifications. Rate is inclusive of weigh-batching of ingredients, mechanical mixing, placing, compaction with tremmi pipe, disposal of excavated materials outside 27 railway premises or as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, levelling of ground, etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.No extra payment will be made for disposal of surplus earth/debris outside Railway premises. Notes: 1. Boring for piles shall be done by rotary drilling machine only. 2. Mild steel liner and reinforcement steel will separately be paid under relevent item. 3. Payment for pile will be made from pile cap bottom to founding level only i.e. no empty boring will be paid. 4. Boring by bailer & chisel method will be allowed only with the approval of Engineer In Charge.. 5. Minimum cement content in concrete shall be 425 kg per cum and maximum water content ratio 0.40. Cost of cement is included in Rate. 6. The contractor shall install microprocesser controlled automatic batching plant of suitable capacity or use RMC for the concreting work, except for the location and components of small work permitted by Engineer in charge for use of self loading concrete mixer capable of recording and printing ingredients' weight electronically. 23 B/NS :- 600 mm Dia.

Credit for taking away dismantled steel. The dismantled steel will be contractor's property. Note: 60 The payment of the item will be paid on the basis of difference of weight of empty truck and loaded truck with scrap material. The scrap steel will be taken away by the agency under proper authority letter from MRVC authorized representative at site. Loading/unloading of steel should be arranged by the contractor, and no extra payment will be made for the same.

Cutting of trees more than 30 cm girth including depositing the wood at nominated location with all loading, transporting etc. The contractor shall obtain necessary approval from concerned Authorities for cutting/ Transplanting trees. 57 B/ NS :- Girth of trees over 60 cm and upto 120 cm

Providing two coats of anticorrosive coal tar epoxy Hi Build compound over one primer coat of epoxy zinc phosphate with all lead and lift with all contractors labour, material, tools & plants etc. complete. The item will be operated for exposed face of concrete surface of all the foundations below ground level.

Any other item as per C.Rly USSOR 2021 (Formation works, Bridge works and P.Way Works)

Pushing RCC Box of size (3.0m x 2.0m) making all necessary arrangements of sufficient number of jacks and its consumables like hydraulic oil etc., arrangement for electricity, Generator minimum 30KVA, arrangements for smooth pushing work, if any , together with all labour and material. The rate includes the cost of operating the jacks, protection of track for any variations in the track geomentry, stabilizing the earth using 44 bentonite or other protections. Necessary arrangements like gunny bags filled with sand shall be made to deal with any unexpected requirements. The contractor has to utilize the Thrust bed prepared for the purpose of pushing as per the directions of Engineer in charge. No additional payment shall be made for skilled or unskilled labour used in the item. The rate includes the cost of designing the thrust bed. The payment for construction of thrust bed and RCC Box shall be made under relevant Items. The design of thrust bed shall be finalized only after the approval of Engineer in charge. Note: Pway items shall be paid in SCH C USSOR 2021.

Supplying, laying and jointing in cement mortar 1:1 contractors Hume pipe NP-4 similar to RDSO 55 specifications including transportation, placing in position, alignment, etc. complete with all leads and lifts loading and unloading with all leads and lifts loading and unloading with all contractor's labour and materials including Hume pipe, collars, tools and equipment, etc. complete. Providing 40 mm thick mastic asphaltic wearing coat on deck slab by applying primer coat of bitumen 10/20 grade at the rate of 0.80 kg/m2 compacting with approved tamping equipment etc. complete as per technical specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge at site.

Providing Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 ready mix concrete (RMC) produced from approved microprocessor controlled automatic batching plant with 20 mm size graded machine crushed stone aggregate in Boundary Wall, Retaining Wall etc or at any location with form work of approved quality and material, shuttering, staging and scaffolding, dewatering, placing using pumps/placer boom/crane & bucket, compaction, finishing the surface and curing of concrete etc. with all contractors tools, plants, labours and materials of approved quality, all lead and lift, crossing of tracks, etc complete as per specification & direction of Engineer -In-Charge. Note: 1. Rate 16 is inclusive of Chloride free admixture such as super plasticizer. 2. Only construction joint shall be permitted. 3. Form work shall be approved by Engineer- in -charge before use. 4. The contractor shall install microprocesser controlled automatic batching plant of suitable capacity or use RMC for the concreting work, except for the location and components of small work permitted by Engineer in charge for use of self loading concrete mixer capable of recording and printing ingredients' weight electronically. 5. Rate shall be inclusive of using equipment like placer boom/concrete pump/ crane bucket method for pouring/placing of concrete in its final position, with all contractors labours, tools, plants, machinery, consumables, etc complete. 6. For Concreting without RMC, deduction at the Rate of Rs 600 per cum will be made.

Providing, Supplying, Fabricating and erecting in position bridge girders across the track above OHE for FOBs/ Skywalks by contractors road crane under OHE and traffic blocks using standard structural steel sections, plates procured from primary manufacturer such as SAIL, TISCO, RashtriyaIspat Nigam LTD, Jindal & Essar steel confirming to IS 2062-2006 (including latest amendment) including submerged arc welding and HSFG/HTS bolts of grade 8.8/10.9 conforming to IS 4000 and RDSO guidelines BS-111 revised (latest), All girders are to be preferably rolled section/shop manufactured by using Submerged Arc Welding. In case the girders are to be manufactured in Depot/Site identified and permitted, Submerged Arc Welding to be used as per provisions of IRS B1-2001 and bolting using HSFG/HTS bolts of grade 8.8/10.9. In case of truss type girders, if sub merged arc type welding is not feasible, other type of welding such as CO2 welding, Electric Arc welding will be permitted with the approval of Engineer in charge. Note: 1. Payment will be made for standard weight of structural steel sections. 2. Rate includes supply of bolts including HSFG/HTS bolts of grade 8.8/10.9 (except foundation bolt), nuts, washers including plain washers, packing washers, hardened washers, tapered washers including Direct Tension Indicators (DTI), as per provisions of IS: 4000 and RDSO specifications BS 111, welding, tools & plants, loading & unloading, transport & fuel, labours, all lead and lift, crossing of track if required etc. and item is payable as per weight assessment based on standard sectional weights of members. Weight of bolts & nuts etc shall not be 24 considered for payment. Nothing extra will be paid for Railway traffic block working. 3. Stages of Payments :- a. 40% of the payment will be made on receipt of supply of material at welding depot/ workshop duly accepted by MRVC. b. 30% of the payment will be made on fabrication of steel elements and bringing it to the site of work. c. 20% of the payment will be released on erection of steel work at proper location. d. 10% of payment will be released on completion of line and level work of erection and on completion of painting. 4. Rate is inclusive of erection/launching under traffic and power block using contractor's road crane of required capacity with one standby crane. In case the site location does not suit use of road crane and railway crane with BFR is to be used, deduction at rate Rs. 7,500/- per MT will be made from the quoted rates towards charges of use of railway crane and BFR as per availability. Contractor will have to provide all required assistance of men, supervisors and equipments etc. for using railway crane for launching. 5. Only HSFG/HTS bolt of grade 8.8/10.9 from Unbrako or Sundaram or similar (with specific approval of CPM) shall be used for bolted connections and splicing as per IS 4000 and RDSO Guidelines BS-111 revised (latest). No extra payment will be made for the same. 6. Metalizing and Painting of all members will be paid separately under relevant item in the schedule. 7. Girders for FOBs have to be fabricated only from firms who are on RDSO's approved list of vendors for fabrication of steel bridge girder.8. An addition in weight for welds and bolts are to be made as follows: a) 3% in case of bolted work b) 2% in case of composite (bolted and welded) work c) 1 % in case of purely welded work. 21A/NS:- Plate Girders, Built up Girders and N truss, RH Girders or similar etc-With & Without Block

Dismantling Cofferdam made up of Earth or sand/clay for the construction of Abutment complete with Contractor's labour, materials, tools and plants etc. complete and disposing released earth suitably.

Excavation in foundations in boulders including rock requiring chiselling (blasting is not permitted) by manual and mechanical means including normal dewatering etc. as per specifications with all contractor's own 2 machinery and equipments, labour, lead & lift, crossing of tracks, including disposing the rock / stone at suitable nominated locations as per directions of Engineer. Note:- 1. The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures in the vicinity of works. 2. Payment shall be made only for design profile and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 3. The excavation shall be done by any means to suite site conditions for protection of utility services such as cables, pipe lines etc.

Providing rubble soling in foundations, etc. with all contractor's stone, material, labour, tools & 13 plants etc. including all lead & lift, transportation etc complete as per Railway's/MRVC specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Notes: 1. If contractor uses stone/boulders released from Railway's cuttings/foundations after breaking them to required size, for which a deduction of Rs 150/- per cum will be made.

Note: 1. Rate is inclusive of Chloride free admixture such as super plasticizer. 2. Only construction joint shall be permitted. 3. Form work shall be approved 19 by Engineer- in -charge before use. 4. The contractor shall install microprocesser controlled automatic batching plant of suitable capacity or use RMC for the concreting work, except for the location and components of small work permitted by Engineer in charge for use of self loading concrete mixer capable of recording and printing ingredients' weight electronically. 5. Rate shall be inclusive of using equipment like placer boom/concrete pump/ crane bucket method for pouring/placing of concrete in its final position, with all contractors labours, tools, plants, machinery, consumables, etc complete. 6. For Concreting without RMC, deduction at the Rate of Rs 600 per cum will be made. 17 C/ NS:- Reinforced Cement Concrete o f M-40 grade fo r cast in situ RCC deck slab, ballast retainer, diaphargm of bridge superstructure or any other similar location. (Minimum cement & flyash (Pozzolona) content per cum concrete shall be 430 kg & 70 Kg respectively & Maximum W/C ratio 0@46&41@

Earthwork in cutting in all types of soils (excluding rock requiring chieseling/ blasting) including normal dewatering etc as per specifications with all contractor's own machinery and equipments, labour, taxes, lead & lift, shoring, strutting, timbering and buttressing with sand/clay bags and all such measures necessary to retain in position the sides of the embankment and disposing off the surplus/unusable earth to outside railway premises on nominated dumping grounds as per directions of Engineer. The work shall be carried out as per RDSO's COMPREHENSIVE GUIDELINES AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR RAILWAY FORMATION Specification No. RDSO/2020/GE: IRS-0004 including correction slips up-to-date. Note:- 1. The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures in the vicinity of works. 2. Payment shall be made only for3 design cut profile and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 3. The excavation shall be done by any means other than chieseling/blasting and to suit site conditions. 4. In case the usable earth/ boulders is used for filling in embankment, payment will be made as per relevant item. (Item No.2 of Schedule A-1) with all lead and any lift. 5. No extra payment shall be made for disposing off the surplus/unusable earth to outside the Railway premises. No excavated material will be dump with in Railway premises i.e. from cutting edge to Railway boundary, the Railway premises should be cleared for transportation of materials and to ply the vehicles. Note: Rate for Item includes following activities also: a) Clearance of site by Removing Grass, shrubs, debries etc. b) Marking of Centre line, Toe line, Reference line etc and shifting and preserving references. c) Fairly Levelling and Compacting of Original Ground before taking initial levels. d) Plotting and making calculations with the help of suitable software and taking printouts of cross-sections for the purpose of records.

Extra for using high grade structural steel plates/sections of YST 350 from SAILMA conforming to IS 8500 or S 355 grade conforming to EN 10025 from TATA/ JINDAL or similar equivalent as approved in relevant Items.

The cut woodl will be taken away by the agency under proper authority letter from MRVC authorized representative at site. Loading/unloading of cut woodl 61 should be arranged by the contractor, and no extra payment will be made for the same. Regarding taking permission from local concerned authorities, the same will be done by the agency at their level and no extra payment will be made for this. However,permission of cutting tress/branches will be obtained by the agency and necessary charges levied by local bodies for cutting of trees will be arranged by MRVC as stated in the relevant item..

Turfing / planting with planted doob grass, including all lead and lift, and watering as required until 8 properly rooted, with. Note - Initially payment of only 40% will be made. Balance 60% will be paid as under if the turfing is properly rooted: 1. After 1st monsoon - 20% 2. After one Year - 20% 3. After handing over of section to railways/another agency - 20%

Note: - 1. The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures in the vicinity of works. 2. Payment shall be made only for design profile and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 3.The excavation shall be done by any means to suite site conditions for protection of utility services such as cables, pipelines etc. 4. Rates inclusive of disposing off the surplus/unusable earth to outside railway boundary with all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer. 5. In case the usable earth/ boulders is used for filling in embankment, payment will be made as per relevant item with all lead and any lift.

Provision of safety enforcer and data loggers to Engineerin-charge of MRVC during the currency of the contract in terms of specification of works requirement - technical specifications for daily record keeping in the software/ MS office application for the daily activities, daily progress, material consumption and updating technical register maintained at site as specified in the technical specification at the various work sites and preparation and 72 submission of the report in the required format to the Engineer In charge including preparation of presentation for the on-going works etc 58 A/NS:-MIS data logger/draftsman. The person deployed shall be well conversant in AutoCAD 2D software for preparation of drawing in tracings, and their print outs and shall be capable of scrutinizing the drawings related to engineering works of civil, electrical etc. Note:- (1) The person deployed should be well versed with working on other software like MS word, Excel, power point and shall be well conversant in sending emails FAX etc. (2) Payment will be made for record keeping and carrying out above activities in shifts of 8.00 hours each on all working days excluding Sundays and General Holidays

Exploratory drilling of 100 mm dia bore holes in all types of soils including weathered rocks (RQD upto 50%) except hard rock down u p t o specified depth u p to maximum of 30m below bed/Ground level for important bridges, major bridges, minor bridges, ROBs/RUBs and along the proposed alignment a t specified 73 spacing normally at 200m to 300m apart in case of uniform type of soil & closely spaced in critical zones, including cleaning and collection o f disturbed & undisturbed soil samples a t every change o f stratum a n d interval not exceeding 1 .5m (undisturbed so il samples shall be collected a s p e r I S 2132:1986). T h e co st includes all contractors labours, tools, machinery, equipments including its mobilization, demobilization / shifting to each bore hole location of equipments, fuel, labeling and Indexing o f samples, the cost o f wooden boxes for storage of samples.

Conducting Pile low strain integrity test as per ASTM D 5882- latest version(code of American 39 Society for Testing)or as per IS 14893 on cast-in -situ RCC pile of any dia. and lifts etc complete as per standard procedure, and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The rate is inclusive of all equipments, labour, consumable, mobilization of equipments and staff, preparation and submission of reports in 3 copies including site preparation as required for tests.

Dismantling steel work, the contractor will take all safety precaution and remove the material immediately. The released material will be contractor's property, the cost will be recovered as per the relevant schedule item. Dismantling of steel structures can be carried out with or without Railway traffic blocks. Before dismantling of any structure which require traffic or power block, the scheme of dismantling should be got approved by Engineer In charge.

Extra for providing and mixing polyester triangular synthetic fibres in specified ratio (@ 0.25% of cement by weight),6 to 18mm in length, designed for melting point 240C to 260C and having specified gravity of 1.33 to 1.40 in all type of CC work such as Deck slab etc.

Delaunching of Railway's 10 to 22 meter long relieving girder from bridge and stacking at bridge 43 approach with Contractor's labour, trailor, crane, derricks, tools and plants, equipments, consumables etc. complete as per specification, special condition and detailed scope of work as furnished in the tender and as directed by Engineer in charge of work. dismantling of overlaying track shall be paid through other relevant item. Each girder consists of two cross braced levels.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with concrete as per specifications, with contractor's boulder for drain, toe wall, catch water drain etc in cement mortar 11 1:6 mix for all heights and depth from above/below ground level with contractor's labour, tools and cement including all lead and lift etc. complete in all respect as per drawing and specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: If contractor uses stone/boulders released from Railway's cuttings/foundations after breaking them to required size, for which a deduction of Rs 150/- per cum will be made.

Approved 1800mm dia RCC sleeve pipe comforming to jacking pipe standard like JSWAS A- 6,ASTM C-76,SS 183 or AS-1342 but not less than NP-4 class under IS-458 supplied, jointed and installed to correct level, gradient and alignment by micro tunneling method/open cut method. The grade of pipe will be NP-4 or greater including design/drawing and getting approval of competent authority. The rate including all material i.e. cement, steel, all labours,tools and plants,equipments etc. Design/drawing to be submitted by the conctractor to the railways design dept. for arranged by contractor.

Providing design mixed M-45 grade cement concrete produced from microprocessor controlled batching and mixing plant, with Maximum aggregate size(MAS) of 20mm graded stone aggregates for precast post-tensioned Prestressed Concrete Girders & precast post-tension prestressed concrete slabs(casting in yard) & launching of girders/slabs with all contractors labour, material, tools and plants including all lead and lift etc. complete as per technical specification. (Minimum ordinary Portland cement and micro silica content per cum concrete shall be 440 kg & 30 Kg respectively & Maximum W/C ratio 0.35). The rate of the item is inclusive of 1. Providing HDPE pipes for future HTS strand if any. 2. Platform, formwork, shuttering , centering, scaffolding and supporting system for concreting. 3. Mixing, vibrating, compaction and curing of the concrete. 4. Chemical compound such as super plasticizer, retarder, silica fumes etc. 5. Necessary transportation, handling, lifting, lowering, sliding, aligning, levelling erecting and launching of Girders to its final position from casting yard. 6. Embedding of arrangement for fixing of bearings, if any. 7. Cost of all materials, cement, labour, plants & machinery etc. complete. 8. all lead and lifts Notes:- 1. Ready Mixed concrete produced from approved microprocessor controlled automatic concrete mixing & batching plant shall only be used. 2. No construction joint or cold joint will be permitted. 3. Only Reinforcement steel & HTS wire will be paid separately. 4. 75% payment of this item including reinforcement steel and HTS strand used for each girder will be released after casting and first stage prestressing of girder at casting bed. Balance payment will be released only after launching of girder at its final position and casting of diaphragm of girder if applicable.

Rate shall be inclusive of using equipment like placer boom/concrete pump/ crane bucket method for pouring/placing of concrete in its final position, with all contractors labours, tools, plants, machinery, consumables, etc complete. 6. For Concreting without RMC, deduction at the Rate of Rs 600 per cum will be made. 17 B/NS:Reinforced cement concrete of M-35 grade in Piers, abutment,ballast retainer, pier & abutment caps, RCC Box Bridge, superstructues Or any other similar location. (Minimum cement & flyash (Pozzolona ) content per cum concrete shall be 400kg & 70kg perspectively & maximum w/c ratio 0.4)

Note: 1. Payment will be made for standard weight of structural steel sections. 2. Rate includes supply of HSFG / Service bolts / HTS bolts etc as 22 may be required (except foundation bolt), nuts, washers, welding, tools & plants, loading & unloading, transport & fuel, labours, all lead and lift, crossing of track if required etc. and item is payable as per weight assessment based on standard sectional weights of members. Weight of bolts & nuts etc. shall not be considered for payment. 3. Stages of Payments :- a. 40% of the payment will be made on receipt of supply of material duly accepted by MRVC at welding depot/ workshop. b. 30% of the payment will be made on fabrication of steel elements and bringing it to the site of work. c. 20% of the payment will be released on erection of steel work at proper location. d. 10% of payment will be released on completion of line and level work of erection and on completion of painting. 4. For welding of FOB/Skywalk girders, submerged arc welding and for columns CO2 welding is to be used and HSFG/HTS bolts of Grade 8.8/ 10.9 to be used for bolting in splicing. 5. An addition in weight for welds and bolts are to be made as follows: a. 3% in case of bolted work b. 2% in case of composite (bolted and welded) work c. 1 % in case of purely welded work. 6. The rate shall not include compaction, which shall be paid separately. The work shall be carried out as per RDSO's COMPREHENSIVE GUIDELINES AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR RAILWAY FORMATION Specification No. RDSO/2020/GE: IRS-0004 including correction slips up-to-date. Note: 1) If naturally available materials do not meet the laid down specifications, the blanket material has to be produced by mechanical process using 6 mechanical crushing or mechanical blending method or combination of these two methods as per RDSO Guidelines and Specifications. The rate for this item is inclusive of the production of material by mechanical process as per above mentioned RDSO guidelines and in case such mechanical process is not required to be used in providing and laying of blanketing material due to availability of natural blanketing material conforming to laid down specifications, the rate of this item shall be reduced by Rs. 250/- per cum. 2) The rate shall include cost of all field and laboratory tests except CBR tests which will be paid vide separate BOQ item. The rates includes supply, loading, unloading, transporting to site, cutting, bending, 30 hooking, placing and fixing in position with contractor's galvanized binding wire of 18 SWG, labour, tools & plants all lead & lift, crossing of tracks etc. as per the approved drawings as directed by the Engineer. Note: (i)The item will be paid only for quantities used actually excluding overlaps other than designed. (ii) The wastage, cut pieces shall be taken away by the contractor and the same will not be paid. (iii) The design overlaps / embedment length only will be paid and other overlaps will not be paid.

Note :- Rate is inclusive of 1)All equipment such as hammer, crane, steel plate, plywood, fuel, power, water etc. 2)All labour and consumable required 3)Mobilisation of equipments, staff etc. 4)Preparation and submission of Reports in 3 copies. 5)Site preparation 6)Extra length of pile head to be casted for dynamic testing and also dismantling of the same after test.

Cutting in Hard rock by Diamond Cutter including all machineries, tools, plants, diesel, labour, dewatering, loading, unloading and removal of rock pieces from site. Note: a) Blasting of any type will not be permitted. B) Rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of Track, Structure etc. in 5 vicinity of works site and obtaining permission from local authority if required. c) This item includes all cutting of Hard rock and removal of rock from site. Note: Rate for Item includes following activities also: a) Clearance of site by Removing Grass, shrubs, debries etc. b) Marking of Centre line, Toe line, Reference line etc and shifting and preserving references. c) Fairly Levelling and Compacting of Original Ground before taking initial levels. d) Plotting and making calculations with the help of suitable software and taking printouts of cross-sections for the purpose of records.

To carry out Plate Load Test as per IS Specifications to determine the Bearing Capacity of soil as directed by Railway Engineer at the locations of bridges and to supply detailed report in 3 (Three)copies giving full analysis for determination of bearing capacity. Earthwork in cutting in hard rock by mechanical methods like hydraulic rock breakers/ splitters/Chieseling (blasting not permitted) or any such methods for making formation, slopes etc, as per specifications with all contractor's own machinery and equipment, labour, taxes, lead & lift, shoring, strutting, timbering and buttressing with sand/clay bags and all such measures necessary to retain in position the sides of the embankment and disposing off the surplus/unusable earth to outside railway premises on nominated dumping grounds as per directions of Engineer. The rate includes dressing of slopes to correct profile. The work shall be carried out as per RDSO's COMPREHENSIVE GUIDELINES AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR RAILWAY FORMATION Specification No. RDSO/2020/GE: IRS-0004 including correction slips up-to-date. Note: 1) Blasting of any type will 4 not be permitted. 2)The rock generated from cutting has to be taken away by the contractor beyond Railway limit at his own cost. No extra payment payment will be made to contractor for such leads. Credit value for taken away generated rock will be levied from the contractor as quoted under relevant item. 3) The rates are inclusive of all safety measures to be adopted for protection of structures etc. in the vicinity of works, obtaining permission from local authority if required. 4) Payment shall be made only for design profile and side slopes and no payment shall be given for any over cut. 5. In case found workable , breaking with chemical compound of approved quality can also be permitted. The same rate shall be applicable for such breaking also. Note: Rate for Item includes following activities also: a) Clearance of site by Removing Grass, shrubs, debries etc. b) Marking of Centre line, Toe line, Reference line etc and shifting and preserving references. c) Fairly Levelling and Compacting of Original Ground before taking initial levels. d) Plotting and making calculations with the help of suitable software and taking printouts of cross-sections for the purpose of records.

Providing and removing barricading with the help of portable fencing along the running track where the work is to be done in close vicinity of the track. Fencing shall consist of self supporting steel angles of size 50 x 50 x 0.5 mm colour bond (Zincalume/galvalume) sheet, 1.5m long provided with hooks etc. and embedded in CC 1:2:4 block of size 0.23x0.23x0.23M placed at c/c distance of 2.0 M along the track. 12 mm dia. rods in three 10 horizontal layers tack welded with the angle posts including providing green colour cloth &Retro-reflective tapes in Horizontal & vertical direction. Note: 1. Released material will be the property of the contractor after the completion of work. Rate is also inclusive of protection and maintenance of barricading during construction period. 2. Dismantling of barricading shall be done after approval of Engineer In-Charge. 3. After construction period, extra payment for maintenance of barricading will be made in the relavant item, if barricading is required beyond completion period as approved by Engineer In-Charge.

Providing Cofferdam made up of Earth or bags filled with impervious material such as clay for the construction of substructure of bridge as per technical Specification with all Contractor's labour, materials, tools and plants, dewatering, etc. complete with all lead & lift. Note: 1. The height and length of cofferdam shall be decided as per site conditions and approved by the Engineer-In-Charge. Railway's decision is final and binding on the contractor. 2. Top width of cofferdam maximum payable is 1.50m with 1:1 side slopes or actual provided whichever is less for 3 sides and 3.50 m for one side with 1:1 side slopes or actual provided whichever is less. The 6 wider side will be used as working platform cum access for vehicle for work if required. 3. Payment for coffer dam for particular structure will be made only once in execution period. Payment for rebuilding of cofferdam due to any reason, such as flood, monsoon shall not be accepted. 4. Released material/ earth of cofferdam shall be used for embankment after completion of substructure work if required. 5. Quantity paid under this item will be deducted from total quantity payable under item of earthwork in embankment with contractor's earth if it is used for embankment. 6. Coffer dam shall be removed from the all stream, river, nallah, culvert etc. before monsoon of every year to avoid any obstruction to natural flow in river/creek in monsoon. 7. Payment for dismantling of coffer dam will be made in relevant item.

Supplying and placing gabions of suitable size as per specifications with 2.7 mm dia wire coated with zinc and PVC sleeves as per specification with provision of partition at every meter interval and properly packed with approx 150 to 250 mm size boulders including transportation and placing at indicated places as per 4 direction of Engineer in charge including with all contractor's materials, tools, plants, Labour etc including royalty charges complete with all respect including continuous stitching with GI wire / nylon rope. The rates shall be inclusive of carrying the materials by head load from nearest approaches point, involving crossing of running lines tacking all the safety precaution and in all adverse weather condition such as heavy rains muddy roads and water logged are including all lead and lift. Rates shall be inclusive of excavation in clay or loose soil up to 30 cm in depth or as required where the gabion shall rest. Note: If contractor uses stone/boulders released from Railway's cuttings/foundations after breaking them to required size, for which a deduction of Rs 150/- per cum will be made.

Providing fully furnished porta cabin with partition & urinal on hire of minimum size 6.1m x 3m with electrification as required, one office Table with Chair, two Visitor chairs, full size almirah, one side table, AC, computer, Printer, stationeries etc. in one side of partition and 1 big conference table with six chairs on another 47 side of partition as directed by Engineer. Rate includes contractor's material, labour, transportation, lead & lift, etc. complete. The cost includes maintenance (cartridge, A4 sheet papers, repairs etc.), security, electricity & cleaning during contract period. Note :- These cabins are to be provided within 15 days from award of Work or commencement of work whichever is earlier for period of 3 months. Cabin provided at one place may require shifting at another location for which no extra payment will be made.

Providing and fixing machine moulded Precast cement concrete solid block grade C (5.0) with block density more than 1800 Kg/cum etc in substructure and super-structure including platform walling, confirming to 62 IS:2185(Part-I) as per approved drawing including hoisting and setting in position with cement mortar 1:3 including centering, shuttering, curing and finishing with all lead and lift including crossing of tracks with all safety measures for working close to track with contractors labour, materials, tools and plants etc complete to specification & finish as directed by Engineer in charge.

Extra for running and maintenance of every additional km over and above 2500 kms

Providing and Fixing temporary barricading to enclose construction area of minimum 2.40 meters high with mild steel angle frame of size 75x75x8 mm and GI corrugated sheet of 0.7mm thickness as per the approved drawings, including foundations. The rate includes one coat of red oxide primer before erection, two 36 coats of approved paint & shade (including MRVC logo at every 15-20 metre) as per the specifications, erecting in position, welding / bolting. The rate includes cost of materials, labour, transportation, leads, lifts, crossing of tracks, etc., complete. as directed by the engineer. Note: 1. Payment schedule. a) 80% payment will be released on installation as per approved drawing b) Balance 10% payment will be made on completion of work at site as certified and directed by Engineer-in Charge if maintained properly like painting etc. c) Balance 10% will be Released after clearing the site and taking away the material.
