Showing Movie /Animation through Projector on safety & Security awareness of pipelines After Execution of Nukkad Natak as described in SOR Item No. 1 at respective village contractor has to display Film on safety & security of pipeline, all necessary arrangement and transportation of all the audio visual system, projects etc. shall be in the scope of contractors. Animated film shall be provided by GAIL.

Newspaper Add , Reports /Fetaures in Newspapaer Contractor has to give an advertisement in one local and one national newspaper regarding the safety of pipelines.

IMPACT ASSESSMENT BY CONDUCTING SURVEY Impact assessment survey to be executed by the contractor half yearly by conducting survey in the villages pointed out by EIC. Survey should be in the form of questionnaire or Quiz or verbal feedback. A report for the same has to be submitted by Contractor.

Nukkad Natak on safety & security awareness of pipeline with involvement of local villagers Contractor has to prepare a short play of approx. 20-25 minutes on Safety & Security awareness of pipelines. Play should be in Gujarati/Hindi/Marathi language. All the material (Musical instruments, Sound, Fancy dress etc.) and manpower for the preparation & presentation of play is in the scope of contractor. At least 5 persons shall be ensured to perform the play. Once the play on Safety & Security awareness of pipelines is approved by EIC, contractor has to present the same at the villages surrounding of the GAIL pipeline details of which is provided in Tender Document. All transportation of material & manpower shall be in the scope of contractor. The persons who shall be performing Nukkad Natak should wear fancy dresses & act in a manner to attract the villagers at a large number. The theme of Nukkad Natak / Showing Film should be on imparting knowledge about the old & new GAIL pipeline, GAIL ROU, Markers and ensuring safety & security of the pipeline and taking step for swatch Bharat Abiyan. Play activity on pipeline safety should be executed in public place in village like School playground, panchayat etc. Arrangement of location for play is to be arranged by contractor at his cost. After execution of Nukkad Natak contractor has to submit a report for each village in prescribed format provided by GAIL which shall include short video & photographs of play. During execution of Nukkad Natak, contractor has to provide light refreshment to all the attendees. Provision of refreshment is in scope of contractor. The key message to be communicate dto target audience/stakeholders are: 1. Purpose of pipeline & its reliability 2. Safety measures installed in the pipeline 3. Awareness of hazards / likely hazards, i.e., leakage, etc. 4. Prevention measures 5. Damage prevention awareness 6. Requirement of calling/informing authorities 7. Leak recognition and response 8. Pipeline location and information 9. ROU encroachment prevention 10. Information regarding Integrity Management System of GAIL pipelines 11. Pipeline patrolling and pipeline markers signboard 12. Availability of list of GAIL officials at nearby maintenance base 13. Toll Free Helpline Number Contractor have prepare a banner displaying the theme of Nukkad Natak and same is to be displayes at every village while execution of Nukkad Natak.

GAIL shall provide invitation letters only. Play is to be done with scope and supply as described in SOR Item No. 1. Necessary table, Chair, Tent, light refreshment for approx.. 30 persons etc. shall be arranged by contractor wherever public awareness program (Nuked Natak / Showing animation etc.) shall be performed to witness the same by GAIL representatives/Gujarat Govt./Maharashtra Govt. administration executives. All necessary coordination with the district administration shall be done by contractor in consultation with EIC. Invitation to all Excavation operators essentially the infrastructure contractors working for public and private agencies, earthmoving machine operators, soil survey agencies, bore well drilling companies, telephone, R&B, Railway, Highway, PWD authorities, etc. that permissions need to be taken for any excavation works in the vicinity of our pipeline should also included.
