1. Supply, install, and commission UPS of 6 KVA capacities and with minimum of 6 Hours backup at 29 Karnataka One centres at 10 cities as mentioned in Annexure I: Locations of deployment(The UPS requirement at 29 locations are only indicative.). CeG reserves the right to alter the numbers of locations either upwards or downwards. 2. CeG intends to replace the existing UPS and Batteries of 29 Karnataka One centre’s, hence the proposal is for procurement of the same under buy back scheme. 3. It is also proposed to procure UPS along with batteries for new Karnataka One Centre’s (Approximately 10 units).These will be procured without any buy back scheme as these will be for new centre’s. 4. Arranging for pre-delivery inspection of UPS and batteries. 5. Preventive maintenance once in every three months and submission of satisfactory report acknowledged by the Karnataka One PPP Partner and/or any other authorized person of Centre for e Governance. 6. Offering the UPS for periodic testing (for every 6 months), of battery capacity to Karnataka One PPP Partner and/or any other authorized person of Centre for e Governance. In case the capacity of the batteries goes below 80% of the rated value, the Battery bank shall be replaced by successful bidder at no cost to CeG. 7. Onsite Maintenance during contract period of three years starting from satisfactory installation and commission report signed by CEG for all 29 locations and any additional locations as per the purchase order. 8. Co-ordination with Karnataka One PPP Partner and/or Centre for e Governance for repair/replacement and daily maintenance activities, status of logged activity and reporting to CEG. The scope of the work of the Karnataka One PPP Partner is provided in section 6. The vendor will ensure all the coordination and responsibility with the Karnataka One PPP Partner to enable the same. 9. Making all arrangements including protection mechanisms against over/under voltages and surges for safeguarding the UPS. CeG shall provide only raw power from the respective ESCOMs.
