All Of The Trust’s End-user Computers Are Currently Running The Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System. Microsoft Will Cease Support For Windows 10 From 14th October 2025. From This Point The Product Will Be Officially Obsolete And Although Trust Devices Using Windows 10 Will Continue To Work, They Will Become Harder To Support; No New Software Applications Will Be Built To Run On Windows 10 And Maintaining Strong Cyber Security Will Become Increasingly Challenging. The Windows 11 Infrastructure Modernisation Project Proposes A Timely Upgrade To The Trust's Computers In Order To Maintain A Supportable Resilient Platform For The Trust. Just Over A Quarter Of The Trust’s Devices Do Not Meet The Minimum Specified Requirements For Windows 11. This Project Therefore Includes:  The Purchase Of (in Range Of 1,000 To 1,500) New Devices With Bonded Storage Facility (including 1000 Laptops Touchscreen/non-touchscreen With 32gb Ram And 500 Desktops With 16gb And 32gb Ram)
