The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed works with a value of at least one-third of the estimated project cost, and having completed at least one project with a length of structures not less than one-third of the proposed structure. The bidder should also have an average annual turnover of 40% of the contract value over the last five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and should have completed works of a similar nature with a value of at least 40% of the contract value over the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - Average annual turnover of 40% of the contract value - Value of at least one-third of the estimated project cost - Length of structures not less than one-third of the proposed structure - At least 90% completion of substantially completed works Additionally, the bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the total estimated cost of work, excluding GST, and should be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should also have access to lines of credit and other financial resources facilities, certified by the Bankers, with a value of at least 10% of the contract value, and should be able to invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value of work during the implementation of the work.
