The University Of Toronto (the University) Has A Requirement For A 2p-random Access Mesoscope (“system”) to Support Research On Behaving Animals To Understand The Neural Mechanisms Of Cognitive Behaviors. The Cerebellum Acts As An Interchanging Hub Regulating Behavior Adaptively. The Research Will Define Brain-wide Information Integration And Coordination By Focusing On The Cerebellum-global Brain Interplay And Cerebellar Microcircuitry Across Cognitive Contexts. This Research Will Uncover New Targets For Therapeutic Research For Mental Disorders (e.g., Autism And Schizophrenia). The 2p-ram Is The Key Foundation Of The Recording Platform, Providing Comprehensive And Unprecedented High-speed Single-cell Whole-brain Neural Dynamics, To Dissect The Neural Mechanisms. The Acan Document Outlines The Minimum Specification/requirements For The Instrument.   The Purpose Of This Advance Contract Award Notice (acan) Is To Signal The University’s Intention To Award A Contract For The Above-noted Goods And/or Services To The Pre-selected Supplier: Delta Photonics 6-2285a St. Laurent Blvd Ottawa On K1g 4z4 Prior To Awarding This Contract, The University Is Providing Other Potential Suppliers With The Opportunity To Demonstrate That They Are Capable Of Satisfying The Requirements As Per This Acan, By Submitting A Statement Of Capabilities During The 15 Calendar Day Posting Period. If Other Potential Suppliers Submit A Statement Of Capabilities That Meet The University’s Requirements As Set Out In The Acan, The University May Proceed To A Competitive Procurement Process. Description Of Procurement The University Is Conducting An Rfp For Av/multi-media Upgrade. The Rotman School Of Management Is Embarking On An Upgrade Of 5 Of Its Meeting Rooms To Enable More Versatility Within These Spaces Along With Replacing 2 Of Our Existing Media Walls (desautel Hall And Fleck Atrium). The 5 Rooms Are In Various Locations Within The North And South Buildings Of The Rotman School Of Management.  Most Of The Existing Technology Within Each Of The Spaces Will Be Replaced Under This Rfp With Additional Equipment Being Added To Tie Into Our Existing Crestron Dm Series Infrastructure. The Intent Is To Enable The Ability To Use These Spaces For Both Meetings And When Needed Teaching. All Rooms Will Be Equipped To Enable Hybrid Delivery With Appropriate Cameras And Monitors Within Each Space.  The Media Walls Are Being Replaced As They Are Both At End Of Life. Both Walls Are Inset Into Existing Frames And The Proposed Solution Must Fit Into The Existing Frames. Dimensions For Each Media Wall Are Included In Schedule G To This Rfp.
