For the preparation of flow cells and flow cavities for measuring chemical reactions under strong coupling using laser infrared spectroscopy, Caf2 windows of high quality (as little scattered light as possible) and with defined holes (inlet/outlet of the sample into the measuring cell) are required. The measuring cell is modified according to Bredenbeck et al, J.sci. Instr. 2003 and Caf2 windows with the requested quality are crucial for the signal quality and tightness of the cells. The subject of the procedure is the procurement of a transmission cell and accessories in order to investigate temperature-dependent processes. The transmission cell must meet the following technical requirements: - The transmission cell must have an aperture of 20 mm. Connections for sample flow must be via Swagelok. The cell must be completely dismantled. The sandwich design made of calcium fluoride windows and PTFE spacers in various layer thicknesses must be able to withstand a pressure of up to 5000 psi when assembled. Temperature control must be possible in a range of 0-240 degrees Celsius. The temperature control unit must meet the following technical requirements: - Computer-aided temperature control of the cell The CAF2 window must meet the following technical requirements: - To match the cell, the CAF2 window must have a diameter of 25 mm and a thickness of 2 mm.
