The equipment measures Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from the melt state of thermoplastic plastics continuously. Infrared spectroscopy (ft-ir) is proposed as the measurement method due to its well-known industrial applications (e.g. combustion processes) and operational reliability of the measurements. However, other continuous measuring methods, eg mass analyzers (gc-ms/fid) are not excluded. The temperature of the gases being measured from the process is initially up to > +300 Degc, so the equipment is assumed to withstand > +200 Degc degrees of the gas to be analyzed for a short time. The equipment must have preset calibrations for the Voc compounds to be measured (20-30 pieces) and it must be suitable for continuous measurement in an industrial environment.
