Description Of The Project And Services The Defence Of Canada Fighter Infrastructure (dcfi) Power Grid Modernization (pgm) Project Is To Construct A New 25kv Underground (in Concrete Encased Copper Conduit Except For A Small Section Of Direct Buried Copper Conduit) High Voltage Power Line From Dnd Owned Sub-stn B651 On The Base Side Of 4 Wing To Both The Tac Side And The Airfield Of 4 Wing Cold Lake. The Project Is Divided Into Two Phases. Phase 1 Is The Installation Of A 25kv Line For The Main High Voltage Electrical Distribution System From The Existing Atco East Substation To A New East Switching Station, Through The Existing Switching Station To The New West Switching Station & Installation Of Concrete Encased Duct Bank Throughout. Phase 2 Is The Installation Of A New High Voltage Distribution System To The Qra, Waterleap, Tac Ramp, Hangarettes, And Fsf Tying Into The Phase 1 Distribution System; And Upgrade Of All Distribution Equipment For Multiple Buildings (approx. 13) Throughout The Base; And Also Concrete Encased Duct Bank Throughout. These Two Phases Of The Work Will Be Tendered Together As A Single Project. Details: The primary school of the Rheinsberg educational campus is located at Kiefernweg 5 in 16381 Rheinsberg. The primary school's sports hall is still located on the site, but is not the subject of this renovation measure. The property is of the Erfurt Ts 66/69 building type with a gross floor area of approx. 3,834 m². The school building consists of two wings that are connected to one another by a crossbar. The maximum dimensions of the school building are approx. 58.78m in the crossbar at its greatest extent and approx. 31.76m in depth. The property can be divided into 3 building sections: Part A: Large crossbar Part B: Connector Part C: Small crossbar The school building has four above-ground floors in part A (ground floor to 3rd floor). The connector (part B) and part C consist of 3 above-ground floors (ground floor - 2nd floor). Only part C of the school building has a full basement. This is where the heat supply handover point is located as a substation. The main connection for the district heating is in the sports hall. From there, the school is supplied via a heat route. The basement area can be reached via one of the stairwells. In part C of the building, the previous main drinking water connection for supplying the building is located under the stairs. Parts B and C of the building only have one crawl space. This is where the supply lines for the drinking water and heat media for these sections of the building are brought in, as well as the disposal lines for the waste water. The waste water is led out of the building via a short route. The school has a total of 5 connection points to the drainage network (3 in part C and 2 in part A). The following measures are to be implemented using the materials advertised: - Complete renewal of the heat transfer incl. Control - Maintaining the pressure of the secondary network - Renewing the heat distribution network - Replacing the radiators and control - Decentralized hot water supply - Reinstalling the cold water network - Reinstalling the wastewater system - Installing a grease separator/lifting system - Installing a lifting system for new toilet areas - Building new toilet rooms for students and teachers - Ventilating windowless areas - Kitchen ventilation - Dismantling and demolition work for old supply technology in the HLS trade (including distribution networks, risers and connecting lines, as well as objects), including partition walls/toilet partitions - Disposal of rubble materials or objects The conversion of the school will take place while operations are ongoing. For the most part, the holidays are to be used for the essential measures. However, it is essential to use the opportunity (outside of class times) to carry out preparatory work during the school year before the holidays. All system components are to be installed and functional when school starts in September 2025. Corresponding impairments during construction must be planned for and do not entitle the customer to make additional demands. Freedom to build is ensured by clearing the respective construction phase. The preliminary acceptance takes place after the project has been completed. The client is expected to cooperate appropriately in the coordination by the contractor. Constant attendance at construction meetings is required for all trades. A pollutant report is not yet available. Insulation materials containing pollutants (insulation containing KMF) are suspected to be in the crawl space. Personal protective equipment should be used for short-term work or when staying in the crawl space. A health check to determine suitability for work in the black area must be presented from the beginning.
