Description: Preliminary information for the purpose of shortening the deadline for receipt of tenders – general guidelines (construction work) New building for the city and district archive in Bad Hersfeld The city of Bad Hersfeld is constructing a new archive building in the city for joint use with the district of Bad Hersfeld. This new building, designed in solid construction, comprises a gross floor area of around 1,800 m². The area is divided over five floors and, in addition to the archive space with mobile shelving, provides office workstations and a reading room as a multifunctional area. The exterior walls will be made of load-bearing reinforced concrete lintels made of in-situ concrete. The wall areas in between, which are to be filled, will be constructed of 24 cm thick reinforced concrete masonry. Reinforced concrete walls will be constructed in defined sub-areas to stiffen and transfer the building's load. The roof areas will be designed as retention roofs with extensive greening. Doors and windows will be constructed of oak wood with cover shells or metal sheet surfaces on the weather-exposed side. The door elements will be solid wood with external, flush-fitting sheet metal cladding on the leaves, fixed elements, and panels. Ceiling coverings will be implemented as textile contract flooring in offices (rolled material), tiled in restrooms, and parquet flooring in the multi-purpose room. Suspended ceilings as plasterboard suspended ceilings are planned in the restrooms of the office area. In the multi-purpose room, a suspended ceiling with an acoustically effective, micro-perforated wood surface will be installed in some areas. Concrete ceilings without visual requirements, as well as all plasterboard suspended ceilings in the office and traffic areas, will be filled and painted to a surface quality of Q3. All interior walls of the office, utility, and other common areas will be filled to quality Q3 (gk, concrete) or coated with a 10 mm thick gypsum plaster of the same quality (mwk) and painted with interior emulsion paint.
