Its primary purpose is to better connect the western districts of the city of Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding districts, towns and communities with one another and to improve the connection to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into the planning approval sections PFA North, PFA Center and PFA South I and South II. The construction of the Regionaltangente West (rtw) will involve the construction of drainage pipes for the RTW and will also affect telecommunications operators' lines, which will have to be relocated as part of the construction of the RTW. This tender relates to through-pressuring measures on the Westerbach, as both the RTW drainage pipe and the FL route cross under the Westerbach. The construction work will take place in the Westerbach floodplain and in a water protection zone of the WW Praunheim.
